“another superb, uplifting concert by the Titanic’s”

We were delighted to be invited back to St Giles in Oxford and here follows a review of the concert from the indomitable organiser, Jean.

A gratifyingly large audience greeted with pleasure the return of the Titanic House Band ‘not waving but drowning’ when they gave their excellent musical services in support of the St Giles’ Music Academy on July 14th, with an effervescent performance of items ranging from The Beatles to Frank Zappa…

We were treated to well known jazz items, to popular family oriented numbers, such as the Pink Panther theme tune, and enjoyed the vocal gymnastics provided by Linda, wife of the band’s director, Nick Blake, whose own arrangements for the band added enjoyment with their originality.
