Last night at the Royal British Legion in Abingdon, the Titanic House Band played to a great audience who danced, sang and clapped the night away! The band play regularly at the RBL and really appreciate the warm welcome we’re given. One of our members, Penny, and her husband celebrated a significant birthday by holding a big bash at Steventon Village Hall on 13th June Family and friends packed out the party, and fuelled by great food and booze, they made for a very appreciative audience.
The first ever Didcot Beer & Cider Festival was held on 5th, 6th & 7th June 2015 at the Dicot Civic Hall. The event was a huge success, helped by the glorious weather and excellent organisation skills of the team. The Titanic House Band were delighted to open the event on the Sunday.
The band has survived many years without an official musical director, but now we are delighted to have back on board, Nick Blake. Nick is an outstanding musician, based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire and we’re honoured to have him share with us his excellent arrangements and his band-leadership.
A triumphant return to the Royal British Legion in Abingdon for the Titans. The audience was packed (well, once the band are in that room, it only takes a dozen more to reach capacity!) and highly appreciative of our style of musical entertainment.
